Welcome to Beacon Street Dental Care, a modern, family-owned practice located on Beacon Street. Led by Dr. Linda R. Marinello, we are proud to provide friendly, personalized care in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Dr. Linda R. Marinello

Lead Dentist & Founder

Dr. Linda Marinello’s journey in dentistry began in 1981 when she graduated from a dental hygiene program in Rochester, New York. For over 12 years, she dedicated herself to caring for patients as a dental hygienist.

Driven by a desire to make an even greater impact, she returned to school full-time at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 1996.

Passionate about sharing her knowledge and shaping the next generation of dental professionals, Dr. Marinello spent 25 years as a part-time clinical assistant professor at Tufts Dental School.

In her free time, Dr. Marinello enjoys sailing along the coast of Maine and rowing on the Charles River with her friends at the Community Rowing Center.

Dr. Xu Yang

General & Restorative Dentist

Dr. Yang earned his undergraduate degree from Wuhan University in China and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Committed to advancing dental science, he also holds a PhD in oral biology from the University of Pittsburgh.

As an active member of the American Dental Association and a dedicated lifelong learner, Dr. Yang regularly attends advanced courses and seminars to bring the latest dental innovations to his patients. He is passionate about providing top-tier clinical care utilizing state-of-the-art technology, modern techniques, and premium materials.

Dr. Yang offers a comprehensive scope of dental expertise, specializing in oral surgeries including wisdom teeth extractions and implants, Root canal treatments, and Crowns/bridge replacements.

Outside the clinic, he enjoys hiking and climbing mountains with his family, as well as cooking family meals together.

Dr. Yilin Shi

General & Restorative Dentist

Dr. Shi earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) with High Honor from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She also holds both a Bachelor of Medicine (BMED) and a Master of Dental Surgery (M.D.S.) from the Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine & Stomatology in Shanghai, China.

With rich clinical experience as a Dentist in Massachusetts and extensive training as a dental resident at the prestigious Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital, Dr. Shi provides exceptional care across all areas of dentistry.

Dr. Shi offers comprehensive, gentle patient treatment for both adults and children. Her expertise spans multiple disciplines, including deep periodontal care, general restorations, complex root canals, crowns, and bridge placements.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Shi loves exploring the outdoors hiking with her dogs, Sherlock and Watson. She is also a passionate singer and enjoys playing tennis in her free time.
